Mary Schiemel, SVP, Director of Local Broadcast

Mary is spot on in the local broadcast arena.

Mary joined TargetCast tcm to lead the agency's newly formed Local Broadcast Group. Working with clients ranging from fast paced brick and mortar retailers to more traditional packaged goods and financial services, Mary approaches each challenge with focus, determination and grace. The marketplace results are impressive, as she leads the local broadcast buying team toward achieving (and overachieving) client goals.

Prior to joining TargetCast tcm, she was at Media Edge/CIA running the local broadcast team for AT&T's Consumer Divisions, Citibank, Mattel, and Volvo.

Mary spent 17 years at Grey Advertising/Mediacom, rising to the position of SVP, Director of Local Broadcast. She personally handled the agency's largest account Kraft / General Foods, across 110 brands in 80% of the U.S, creating detailed reporting at the brand, division and corporate levels. Ever the innovator, Mary oversaw the negotiating strategy and implementation of a 15 second pairing allocation system that saved Kraft Foods over five million dollars.

Mary has represented the local broadcast perspective on task force teams designed to incorporate new technologies, policies and procedures to both streamline and enhance Client/Agency relationships. She represents TargetCast tcm on the AAAA's Local TV/Radio Broadcast Committee, where she continues to challenge the industry in the development of leading edge thinking and applications.
