"I love the media business and I always have. This is a business where nothing stands still. The constant changes in the media landscape, the business environment, consumer connections and of course, rapid technology advances, are the fuel that feeds the fire of my curiosity. This is the best of times to be in our business; it's all new, every day, and I love it."
Every day I set out to find the biggest oppurtunities on our clients' plates. My goal is to leave no stone unturned as we challenge all convention and find solutions that will make our clients' brands successful, even famous. There is no such thing as fear when it comes to effective communications solutions; we must be creative in every aspect of our approach. Creating TargetCast tcm is the crowning accomplishment in a career that I am incredibly proud of. It is here that we can focus on the needs of strong independent brands that need a high level of commitment and great strategic thinking to challenge category leaders.
I believe that we have a responsibility to make our industry better by actively engaging in it. As a member of the 4A's Media Policy Committee and the Eastern Regional Board, and as a former President of the Advertising Club of New York, my goal is to always press forward those issues that are critical to our industry. I have enjoyed the opportunity to further encourage the next generation of advertising professionals as a guest lecturer at both Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and in my role as Chairman of the St. John's University School of Professional Studies Advisory Committee, I encourage both the professional staff and students to delve deep into the exciting challenges and opportunities in business.
I've worked with some of the best and was given opportunities to contribute to winning ad campaigns at Jordan McGrath Case & Partner, Young & Rubicam, Wells Rich Greene/BDDP, and Ammirati & Puris. When challenged by Havas to serve as the founding CEO of MPG in the United States, I responded by successfully building a $3.4B media agency, bringing together JMCP, Messner, Euro and Arnold's media departments into a cohesive, forward-leaning unit.
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to bring my professional and personal passions together in my role as Board Member and Vice President for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We are engaged on an exciting path as we bring this important charitable organization forward in its work, funding research and helping countless people enjoy longer, healthier and better lives.
